Following the recent announcement made by Bobby Bostick Promotions Russian promoter German Titov has put forward his own point of view. As Fightnews has already informed, Bobby Bostick Promotions had reportedly inked three fighters hailing from Russia – Nikolay Popov, Alexander Fedorov and Sergey Sorokin.
However, German Titov denied the upper statement by underlying that both Popov (17-2, 9 KOs) and Sorokin (22-1, 17 KOs) are under his own promotion right now. Though Titov confirmed that a steady interest from Bobby Bostick Promotions does exist, he also paid attention to the fact that the deal hadn’t been signed yet. The reason is pretty simple as the starting offer from Bobby Bostick representatives wasn’t that good to be accepted. However, Mr. Titov stated that the negotiations were under process at the moment, but an agreement was still to be reached.
German Titov is well-know both in and outside of Russia. He promotes a huge bunch of Eastern-Europe fighters. Among them are top-ranked pugilists such as Sorokin, Popov, Marat Mazimbaev, Kuvanych Toygonbayev, Grigory Drozd, Alisher Rakhimov and Denis Bakhtov.
