"This is a golden opportunity to show to the world that I am the best heavyweight," says WBA heavyweight champion Ruslan Chagaev, who will face WBO champion Sultan Ibragimov on October 13 in Moscow. "With this fight, I will try to bring the second world champion's belt to Hamburg for my family and my boxstall Universum Box-promotion," added 'The White Tyson" at the official press conference on Thursday.

In his fight against the seemingly overpowering giant Valuev, Ruslan Chagaev clearly gave proof of his class and showed that he can defeat any heavyweight in the world. Universum Box-Promotion is especially proud that in collaboration with our partners we have set up the first heavyweight unificaton fight since 1999 (Lennox Lewis vs. Evander Holyfield). Furthermore, it is the first time that such a fight doesn't involve American boxers and for the first time takes place not in the USA, but on European soil.
