Tough-as-usual Vyacheslav Senchenko (now 21-0, 15 KOs), 29, joined his fellow compatriots Yuri Nuzhnenko and Victor Plotnikov as the third unbeaten welterweight from Ukraine to score a level-up victory in last two weeks. The Ukrainian trio has now a combined record of 64-0, with 37 kayos.
Senchenko used his superior power and technical advantage to stop former fringe contender Andrey Yeskin (15-5, 11 KOs), 30, of Kazakhstan, in six rounds this Friday in Donetsk, Ukraine. With the win Senchenko is now EBU-EE (European External European Union) 147 lb titlist. Also Vladimir Kravets (12-0, 5 KOs) is now EBU-EE junior welterweight beltholder following his dominant second round KO over widely overmatched Belarussian Vadim Astapuk (8-12-1, 2 KOs). World-ranked lightweight Andrey Kudriavtsev (23-3, 10 KOs) showed a good share of problems in his outing against almost unknown Evgueni Kruhlik (5-8-2) of Belarus but somehow scored his UD 12 in a lackluster fashion, capturing EBU-EE lightweight title at the end.
The show was promoted by Union Box Promotions.
