В конце мая Вик Дарчинян сразится с Ричардом Гарсией. Следующий свой бой чемпион мира по версиям WBA и WBC в первом легчайшем весе Вик Дарчинян (34-2-1, 27 КО) проведет в Сиднее против филлипинского боксера Ричарда Гарсии (21-10-1, 5 KO).

В настоящее время также проходят переговоры о поединке-реванше между Дарчиняном и Нонито Донэром. Предполагается, что боксеры встретятся в августе.
