Беглые кубинцы Одланиер Солис, Юриоркис Гамбоа и Ян Бартелеми, подписавшие промоутерское соглашение с немецкой промоутерской компанией, рады, что они получили возможность заявить о себе в профессиональном боксе. «После выигрыша главного титула в любительском боксе (Олимпийского золота 2004 года – прим. FighNews.Ru), передо мной осталась только одна цель – завоевание титул чемпиона мира в супертяжелом весе. Мне очень грустно из-за того, что я покинул свою родину, но я готов стать профессионалом и работать для достижения главной цели», - заявил Солис, с которым полностью согласны и его коллеги-беглецы.
