Бывший чемпион мира в первом тяжёлом весе по версии IBF Виктор Рамирес (22-3-1, 17 КО) объявил о решении завершить боксёрскую карьеру. Свой последний поединок 32-летний Рамирес провёл в мае этого года против Дениса Лебедева, которому уступил свой титул, проиграв нокаутом во втором раунде.

«Я не хочу возвращаться на ринг. Я устал от тренировок и сгонов веса. Хватит», — цитирует Рамиреса BoxingScene.

Следует отметить, что у Рамиреса прежде был длительный простой в карьере: с 2009 по 2013 год, однако впоследствии он вернулся на ринг.
